Bending tools WILA

Placke Wila bending tools

For a high degree of accuracy, speed, safety, durability and flexibility.

The standard equipment of our press brakes is "WILA New Standard clamping system NSCL".

This system distinguishes itself by a high degree of accuracy, speed, safety, longevity and flexibility.

This unique ‘Wila Style’ (previously known as Modufix) has become the ‘New Standard’ in the industry.
The clamping system convinces by a compact construction and is absolutely easy to handle.

The upper tools (up to 12.5 kg) have Safety-Clicks and can be changed vertically - quick and safe.

Wila's standard program consists of a wide variety of New Standard tools.

  • top tools (BIU)
  • bottom tools (OZU)
  • holders (HU)
  • Dutch bending tools (DDU)

All of the tools are made from steel composed specifically for this purpose that has high tensile strength, toughness and load-bearing capacity.

All modular tools and accessories (max. length 515 m) are developed and manufactured to the highest possible accuracy. The system furthermore allows extremely fine adjustments. Therefore accuracy (and the final bending result) are optimal.

New Standard tools are CNC-Deephardened on the bending radii (56-60 HRc), and are therefore highly wear-resistant. Many New Standard Clamping and Crowning systems come with CNC Deephardened (approx. 56 HRc) pressure and reference surfaces. Consequently wear is negligible and a high level of performance is guaranteed for a long period.

BIU and OZU tools are available for both air bending and bottom bending.

All tools are modular and available in a large number of standard lengths. Using these sets, any length can be achieved with 5 mm / 0.2” increments.

All tools are clearly marked with the necessary user information.
